Why We're Listening
Before we tell Black women what they need,
we should listen to what they are carrying.
CAREGD™ is listening for patterns — the everyday human signals that get missed when strength is the only thing anyone notices.
Pressure
What is being carried, and how much of it is invisible.
Connection
Who feels held, and who is holding everything alone.
Hope
What women are still reaching for.
Support
What helps, and what is missing.
Readiness
What women feel ready to name out loud.
What we learn belongs to the women who shared it.

Founding Letter™
I didn't start You Good Sis?™ because I thought Black women needed another movement.
I started it because I kept seeing the same thing.
Women carrying a lot. Holding a lot. Pushing through a lot. Women everyone depends on.
"I'm tired." "I'm good." "I got it." "I want a soft life."
Underneath those words, I often sensed something deeper.
The desire to feel protected, not just respected.
To feel cared for, not just capable.
To feel seen for who we are, not just what we do.
Black women can be soft. Black women are strong.
What many of us are still searching for is the feeling of being seen — seen enough to rest, safe enough to be honest, held enough to not carry everything alone.
That's why the language of this work is Soft. Strong. Seen.™ And that's why we are listening first, before anyone tells Black women what they need.
Now, because the pressure is not waiting. Not because you're influential — because Black women trust you.
What becomes possible when Black women feel soft, strong, and seen?
